DGP visits DySP Aman Thakur’s family
Expresses heartfelt sympathies; promises all help to NoKs
JAMMU, FEBRUARY 28: Director General of Police, Dilbag Singh today visited the family of the slain Deputy Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar Thakur who was killed in an encounter at Turigam, Kulgam on 24th February.
DGP who was accompanied by ADGP A. K Choudhary, ADGP Armed S.J.M. Gillani, IGP Jammu M. K. Sinha expressed heartfelt sympathies on behalf of J&K Police Department with the bereaved family.
While interacting with the bereaved family, DGP assured them that entire Police Pariwar is with them and will take care of them. He promised all possible help to the next of kin of the slain officer.
The DGP and other senior officers acknowledged the exemplary courage shown by the officer in the line of duty. He is survived by parents, wife and six year old son.
