Indian pilot to be released tomorrow: Imran Khan
Islamabad: Addressing a joint session of parliament, Pakistan PM Imran Khan announced that Indian pilot Abhinandan would be released tomorrow.
He said Pakistan had offered dialogue to India but the response was "not good".
"We realised that it was not good because of the upcoming elections," he said.
He said that Pakistan stands for peace and as a peace gesture will release Indian pilot who was captured yesterday, will be released tomarrow.
He sad that Pakistan acted with restraint following the Balakot incident because it wanted to be absolutely sure it did not cause any damage beyond what had been inflicted on itself.
"The only purpose of our strike was to demonstrate our capability and will. We did not want to inflict any casualty on India as we wanted to act in a responsible manner."
