Indo-Pak armies exchange heavy shelling Uri sector

Baramulla: Amid escalation of tension between India and Pakistan after India’s Air strike, Indo-Pak armies of  exchanged heavy gunfire along LoC in frontier sector Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district since Wednesday.

Sources said that the Indo PaK armies exchanged mortar shelling Kamalkot area of Uri  and the interment firing and shelling continues.

However, no loss of life or injury to any person was reported in the incident.

Meanwhile, people of the area have started moving to safer places.

Confirming the cross border shelling, SSP Baramulla Abdul Qayoom said that few shells landed in Kamalkote nallah and near Kaalgi no loss of life reported,  however, people are being shifted to safer locations.
