BARAMULLA, FEBRUARY 24: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr G N Ittoo today reviewed the functioning of Revenue department in a meeting convened with the senior officers of the department. The meeting was attended by ADC Sopore, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Sub- Divisional Magistrates of Tangmarg, Pattan besides all the Tehsildars and other senior officers of the concerned department.
Dr Ittoo, while reviewing the performance directed the officers to mobilise their men and machinery for public service and to redress the public grievances at an earliest.
While discussing other important issues, the DDC asked the concerned officers to roll out public outreach programmes in the district to get first-hand appraisal of the public grievances.
Further, the DC directed all the officers to take cognizance of the public complaints and to streamline the process of market checking, monitoring of essential services in the district and grievance redressal mechanism in a time-bound manner.
