Srinagar: Mobile Internet service has been suspended in Kashmir valley in the wake of a shutdown called against attacks on Kashmiris in Jammu and other parts of India.
An official said that the service was suspended last evening as a precautionary measure to prevent spreading rumours that could vitiate the atmosphere.
However, broadband and other point-to-point Internet services of private companies were working though with low speed.
