Srinagar: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik has strongly condemned the slapping of second consecutive PSA on JKLF leader Zahoor Ahmad Butt who has been shifted to Anantnag Sub-Jail.

High court had recently quashed his PSA and he was shifted to Kupwara jail from Kot-balwal and was then again booked under PSA.

JKLF chairman, in a statement issued here today said that using black laws to prolong incarceration of political leaders and activists is most undemocratic and tyrannical.

JKLF chairman also expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of Abdul Ahad Lone who was the father of senior JKLF member Fayaz Ahmad Lone of Kaw Mohala Khanyar.

“Meanwhile Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has paid rich tributes to Haigam martyrs who rendered sacrifices in 2001,” a JKLF spokesman said.
