Ramban, Feb 13: A man died in Ramban district as two avalanches struck there on Wednesday.
Reports said Salam Din Gujjar died after a snow avalanche hit him near his house in Randgali, Halla Dhandrath panchayat of the district.
Salam Din died on the spot, police said.
Another avalanche hit the house of Jamal Din Sheikh in Mangit village in Khari tehsil of the district.
An official said the house was damaged in the avalanche but luckily there was no one inside the house when the avalanche struck.
