3 drug peddlers held
Jammu, Feb 11: Three suspected drug peddlers were arrested in separate cases after a huge consignment of intoxicant drugs was recovered from them in Samba and Ramban districts, police said Monday.
Suraj Paul, a resident of Ramgarh was arrested with 275 intoxicant tablets in Samba district’s Vijaypur on Monday, a police spokesman said.
Another suspected drug peddler, Ashok Kumar of Ramgarh was held with 210 intoxicant capsules from Kamala area of Samba, he said.
In Ramban district, Kulbir Singh, a resident of Duthan village, was arrested on Sunday after recovery of 401 intoxicating injections and 1,920 such tablets during frisking near the court complex.
