JAMMU, FEBRUARY 09: The Government today issued directions to utilize the non-movable assets of Integrated Wasteland Development Programme (IWDP) after a Committee was set up to wind up the Programme and absorb its employees in allied wings of the Forest Department.

Accordingly, the IWDP complex, Srinagar, Ground Floor has been ordered to be placed at the disposal of WUCMA and 1st Floor of the Complex and Rest House at the disposal of Social Forestry Department for housing their respective directorates.

The IWDP Complex Jammu, Ground floor has been placed at the disposal of the Pollution Control Board and 1st Floor to Forest Department (Territorial) for official use.

One double story IWDP building at Akhnoor has been ordered to be placed at the disposal of the PCCF, J&K, for utilizing it by Forest Guard’s Training School, Doomi, Akhnoor, with immediate effect.

Moreover, all the Movable resources viz vehicles etc available in IWDP have been ordered to be kept at the disposal of Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, J&K, who shall moot a proposal for proper allotment of vehicles and remaining infrastructure on the basis of the requisition received from various wings of the Forest Department.
