Srinagar, Feb 09: In the ongoing rescue operation at Jawahar Tunnel, authorities on Saturday said that one more body was recovered from the debris of an avalanche, taking the toll to eight.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Muhammad Younis Mallik told KNS that they have recovered the body of Parvez Ahmad SGCT from the debris.
Earlier, seven bodies including two of prisoners were recovered from the debris of avalanche while as three persons were rescued alive. (KNS)
