SOPORE, FEBRUARY 05: Taking forward the observation of 30th Road Safety Week, Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Baramulla in collaboration with Sanctorum College of Education Lalad Sopore today organised Inter School and Inter College essay competition on ‘Road Safety Education for Children’ in which students from various schools and colleges participated.
Speaking on the occasion ARTO Baramulla Dr Mohammad Zubair Lattoo said that the main thrust of holding essay competition was to impart traffic rules knowledge in our young generation so that they could become law abiding citizens and it will help easing road traffic accidents which is alarming these days and would give awareness among the students about the need and urgency for making the journey on road safer.
