Srinagar, Feb 3: Police detained Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik from his Maisuma residence just hours before Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

A JKLF spokesperson said a large posse of police reached Malik’s Maisuma residence at dawn and took the JKLF chief under detention.
