Video-Gulmarg receives fresh snowfall, rains lash valley

 Srinagar, Feb 03: Most parts of the Jammu and Kashmir are likely to receive moderate to heavy rain and snowfall between February 05 and 08, a weather report said on Sunday.

“Moderate to heavy rain and snowfall will occur over Anantnag, Badgam, Bandipore, Baramulla, Doda, Ganderbal, Jammu, Kargil, Kulgam, Kupwara, Leh, Pulwama, Punch, Rajouri, Ramban, Reasi, Samba, Shopian, Srinagar and Udhampur of Jammu and Kashmir between Feb 5 and 8,” Skymet Weather said in its weather forecast report.

Indian Meteorological department in its evening forecast on Sunday predicted thunderstorm accompanied with hailstorm at isolated places over Jammu division of Jammu and Kashmir on February 05.

For February 06, IMD forecast heavy rain and snow at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir.

“Thunderstorm accompanied with hailstorm at isolated places likely over Jammu division of Jammu & Kashmir, lower reaches of Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand, Punjab, Haryana, north Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh,” the weather report said.

Similarly on February 07, the weather report said heavy rain/snow are likely at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir.
