Tangdhar: People in Karnah today protested post Friday congregational prayer against the local administration expressing concern over the shortage of basic commodities due to connectivity constraints.
Yesterday partial shutdown was also observed which was led by Beopar Mandal. The business community alleged that due to road blockade, the vehicles loaded with essential commodities got stuck resulting into the wastage of the material worth lakhs of rupees.
The area is facing acute shortage of fresh vegetables, LPG, medicines and baby food.
