Srinagar, Feb 02: Authorities on Saturday placed Hurriyat Conference (M)  Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest at his Nigeen residence ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kashmir.
“A heavy contingent of police arrived at Mirwaiz Manzil Nigeen & placed him under house arrest,” said a spokesman.
