SRINAGAR, January 30: Hundreds of CPI(M) activists assembled in Town Hall  Kulgam and took out a protest demonstration against erratic power supply. The rally marched through town and later presented a memorandum to Dy Commissioner, Kulgam.

While addressing the rally, Mohamad Afzal Parry senior CPI(M) leader said though the government claims there is improvement in power supply, reality is that the power situation is same as it was during the previous years. There seems no improvement. No power schedule is being followed on ground and even metered areas are facing long and unscheduled power cuts.
