I-league:  Krizo’s goal stun Chennai city FC

Srinagar, Jan 28: Sensational goal in second  half by Krizo stunned I league leaders Chennai City FC  and gave Real Kashmir FC a remarkable 1-0 victory at TRC synthetic turf here.

Krizo made his mark in early minutes of the match and his shot was saved by stretching save of CCFC goalie.

CCFC showed tactical supremacy and dominated the possession in first half. They came very close on few occasions but resilient defence of RKFC kept them at bay.

First half ended with score line of 0-0.

RKFC changed strategy in second half and pressed CCFC players very high .CCFC were caught in the  high pressing  and gave away ball easily. Taking Advantage RKFC created many chances but couldn’t capitalise.

Deadlock was broken in 80th when Danish Farooq beautifully crossed ball from right flank and krizo’s towering header put the ball in net.

CCFC desperately​tried to equal in last minutes of match but RKFC defence stood firm and denied CCFC any point.

As the final vessel blew RKFC fans in thousands jumped and cheered in Jubilation.

With this win RKFC reduced the gap to 2-points against table toppers CCFC. RKFC have 28 points and CCFC have 30 points in 14 matches.
