Div Com Jammu reviews progress on works taken up in convergence mode

JAMMU, JANUARY 21: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma today chaired a meeting with officers to discuss works taken up for execution for the development of Jammu city.

The meeting was attended by Director Tourism, O P Bhagat, Director Floriculture, Babila Rakwal, Executive Director, MMJHS Deepika, Regional Wildlife Warden, Tahir Shawl, ACR Jammu, Sanjay Badyal, Wildlife Warden Jambu Zoo, Amit Sharma besides senior functionaries of concerned departments.

The Div Com took project wise review of works taken up for development of Jammu city.

The Div Com directed the executing agencies to ensure the completion of all the projects within stipulated time without any cost escalation.

He reviewed the progress on Jambu Zoo Project. The concerned department apprised the Div Com about the progress of works done by them so far. He directed for timely completion of pending works.

The Div Com also reviewed the progress of work on Mubark Mandi heritage complex and directed the concerned for identification of food court, besides development of proper lightings for its beautification.

The Div Com also discussed beautification of Rahgunath Bazar.

Emphasizing on adherence to quality specification and timely completion of projects, the Div Com directed the executing agencies to work in synergy and ensure proper monitoring of work. He also asked for expediting the pace of work.
