JAMMU, JANUARY 18: Union Ministry of Human Resources MHRD, Hr Edu Deptt sign MoU in presence of Ganai

Development (MHRD) through Director Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Commissioner Secretary, State Higher Education Department for use of additional space and land at the transit campus of IIM here at the old University Campus.

The additional accommodation will enable IIM management to meet the full intake capacity of the institute with sufficient classrooms and other building infrastructure.

It was informed that the construction of additional accommodation at the transit campus of IIM will be executed by CPWD at an estimated cost of Rs 10 crore.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai.

The additional accommodation will be used by IIM for class rooms, faculty rooms, administrative office, hostel and other facilities.

Commissioner Secretary, Higher Education Department Sarita Chauhan, Director IIM Jammu Prof B.S Sahay and Principal GGM Science College Dr Satinder Singh, Chief Administrative officer IIM M L Sharma were present on the occasion.
