Jammu, Jan 11:  A rousing welcome was accorded to the newly appointed vice President Choudhary Abdul Hameed at PDP head office in Jammu with party functionaries and activists extending full support to the leader, a PDP spokesman said in a statement issued here today.

Addressing leaders, functionaries, activists and workers, Choudhary said that the PDP founder Mufti Mohammad Sayeed founded the party with a sole objective to get the state out of the sordid conditions and accord people the rights they were craving for since decades, said the spokesman.
