Srinagar: In the wake of heavy snowfall, the authorities on Saturday ordered the suspension of rail service in Kashmir valley.
Official sources said that due to the accumulation of snow on the railway track, it was decided to suspend the service till all tracks are cleared.
Therefore, there was no train service today on Budgam-Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund in south Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region and also on Srinagar-Badgam and Baramulla in north Kashmir.
