AGS Hanzik Students’ represent J&K at 64TH National School Games

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 02:  Three students of Army Goodwill School (AGS), Hanzik, brought laurels to their families and the School by representing Jammu & Kashmir State Team in the  recently concluded  64th National School Game 2018-19 in Kickboxing in the Under 17 category at Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh from 26th to 29th December 2018.

In a statement issued here, a spokesman of AGS Hanzik said: “All the three girl students, Insha Zehra, Suriya Maqbool and Naila Manzoor, fought with great vigour and enthusiasm and were able to reach the quarter-finals of the tournament. Despite giving a spirited fight, they went down in the closely contested quarter finals.”

“Their inspired performance will serve as a motivation for other students and help bring more glory and success for the School in times to come. With the School and their families backing them up, the students are getting the necessary impetus to hone this important facet of their personality,” the spokesman said.

“The School staff and the Management have been in the forefront in identifying young talent and providing the students with such opportunities wherein they can channelise their energy towards a competitive and healthy future,” the spokesman added.
