Samoon inaugurates Fisheries Complex; Lays foundation of Veterinary Hospital

DODA, DECEMBER 30:- Principal Secretary Animal/Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries and Transport Department Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, Sunday tours Doda and Bhaderwah areas of Jammu province and inaugurated a building of Fisheries department and also laid foundation stone of a veterinary hospital.

At Doda the Principal Secretary inaugurated newly constructed building of Fisheries Department at the cost of Rs 52.29 lakhs by PWD (R&B) Div. Doda.

Dr Samoon also visited veterinary hospital and Sheep Breeding farm Thathri. He later visited Bhaderwah and inspected trout fish farm at Gatha and Bheja. He also laid foundation stone of veterinary hospital at Bhaderwah being constructed at the cost of Rs. 59.70 lac by PWD R&B Division Bhaderwah.

Dr Samoon was accompanied by Director Fisheries J&K R.N Pandita and Director Animal Husbandry Dr. Victor Koul, Director Sheep Husbandry J&K Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Director State Motor Garages J&K Zakir Hussain, Deputy Commissioner Doda Anshul Garg besides others Head and District Officers and staffs of fisheries/Sheep and Animal Husbandry department.
