Srinagar: Two militants were killed in an ongoing gunfight in Hanjin Payeen area of Rajpora village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources said that a joint team of army’s 44RR, 182, 183 CRPF and SOG Pulwama launched cordon and search operation in Hanjin Payeen after having credible input about the presence of some militants in the area.
As the forces intensified the searches, the militants opened fire on them triggering off a gunfight, they said.
