Srinagar: A bomb blast ripped through a bus stand in Jammu Friday night. The explosion, a low-intensity grenade blast, occurred sometime after midnight, police officials said.
Reports said that the preliminary investigation revealed that the bomb was placed close to a load carrier which suffered damage. No casualties or injuries have been reported.
Security has been beefed up in the area. Eyewitnesses said the incident led to panic and confusion among the locals who rushed to safer areas. A Water tank also got damaged in the blast, reports added.
