Baramulla: DDC reviews power supply scenario

BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 26: To ensure better Power Supply to consumers in Baramulla district, a meeting of concerned officers was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash, here today.

The meeting was attended by Superintending Engineer PDD Baramulla, besides Executive Engineers and Assistant Executive Engineers of various areas.

The meeting discussed threadbare various issues relating to damaged transformers and curtailment schedule of PDD.

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC enjoined upon the engineers of PDD to ensure better power supply to the consumers and adhere to the curtailment schedule of power supply in letter and spirit. He urged officers to gear up the field staff to keep vigil on the HT/ LT lines besides the transformers so that the people will not face any inconvenience. The DDC directed the concerned engineers to establish a temporary workshop at border area Uri to repair damaged transformers of the area as and when required.
