3-day training programme for representatives of ULBs concludes
JAMMU, DECEMBER 26: Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management and Public Administration (IMPA) today concluded its three-day training programme for elected members of Urban Local Bodies aimed to enhance their skills for the efficient discharge of their duties and responsibilities.
On the valedictory day, over 50 members of Municipal Committees and Councils of border areas like Journian, Akhnoor, Khour, Ghoumanhasa and Kalakote participated in the session here which was supported by Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The content and course material of the training programmes is being conceptualized by Prof Reva Sharma, Director Trainings IMPA, Jammu objective of which is to impart skills and enhancing knowledge of the elected members to enable them to discharge their duties and responsibilities leading to the effective functioning of the basic democratic units
On the concluding day, the participating elected representatives were also awarded certificates by Director Training IMPA, Jammu.
