Tral shuts for second day against militant killings

Srinagar: A complete shutdown was observed for the second consecutive day on Sunday against the killing of six militants in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district yesterday.

Sources said that people continued thronging the residences of the slain militants.

Meanwhile, railway authorities have resumed train service in the valley since this morning. The train service started from Srinagar-Budgam and Baramulla track in north Kashmir and also Budgam-Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund in south Kashmir to Banihal. The railway service was suspended on Saturday for security reasons after an encounter with security forces at Tral in Pulwama on Saturday.
