Govt orders placement of 3 SEs as Chief Engineers

Jammu, Dec 21: Government today ordered placement of three Superintending Engineers (Civil) as Incharge Chief Engineers.

According to an order issued by the Public Works Department, the SEs promoted as Chief Engineers include Balbir Singh, Mohammad Iqbal Mir and Showkat Ahmad Jeelani.

Consequent upon fresh promotions, the department has ordered transfer and posting of Chief Engineers.

According to the order, DK Khanna, I/C Chief Engineer, Mughal Road Project, holding the additional charge of the post of Chief Engineer, PMGSY, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Chief Engineer PMGSY, Jammu on full time basis.

Sunil Kumar Gandotra, I/C Chief Engineer, SKIMS, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as I/C Chief Engineer, SKAUST, Jammu against an available vacancy.

Ghulam Jeelani, I/C Chief Engineer, PMGSY, Kashmir has been transferred and posted as I/C Chief Engineer, SKIMS, Srinagar vice Sunil Kumar Gandotra.

Balbir Singh, on his placement as I/C Chief Engineer has been posted as I/C Chief Engineer, Chenab Valley Power Projects (P) Limited against an available vacancy.

Mohammad Iqbal Mir, on his placement as I/C Chief Engineer has been posted as I/C Chief Engineer, Mughal Road Project vice DK Khanna.

Showkat Ahmad Jeelani on his placement as I/C Chief Engineer has been posted as I/C Chief Engineer, PMGSY Kashmir vice Ghulam Jeelani.
