One of slain civilian leaves behind Indonesian wife, 3-month-old baby

Pulwama, Dec 15: One of the seven civilians killed in government forces’ firing on Saturday in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district has left behind an Indonesian wife and a three-month-old baby.

Abid Hussain Lone of Karimabad village completed his MBA from Indonesia, and had returned home last year with his wife.

Along with Hussain, six civilians died in the clashes that broke out in Sirnoo village after a gunfight between the forces and the militants.

Mohd Amir Pala another civilian killed during clashes was working as salesman at a vehicle pollution checking shop at Pulwama town and is survived by parents, two elder sisters and a brother.

“As a daily routine he left for shop on his bike and later someone called us on phone saying he was dead. He had bullet injury in the chest,” said Mohd Yousuf Pala, father of the slain youth.

Murtaza Bashir, 14 year old 7th standard student was also killed near encounter site leaving his parents and younger brother in terrible shock.
