DIC Ganderbal organizes Mehfil-e-Mushaira

GANDERBAL, DECEMBER 15: District Information Centre, Ganderbal today organised a Mehfil- e-Mushaira in collaboration with Aal-E-Yaseen Ganderbal here at Town Hall

Eminent poets including, Shakeel Shan, Muneer Ahmad Mir and others recited their poetry which enthralled the audience.

Joint Director Information Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak was the chief guest and Assistant Director Information, Mohammad Aslam was guest of honour.

Hakak appreciated the participating poets and said that such programs are important for promotion of literature as these provide a platform for creative activities and help in the nourishment of literary persons.

District Information Officer Ganderbal, Riyaz Ahamd Fazli thanked all the participating poets and audiences for making the program a success. He said that District Information Centre will continue to organize such Mushairas for the encouragement of poets of the district.

The participating poets also hailed DIC Ganderbal   for organizing the such events to promote of literary activities.
