Shopian: Police on Tuesday identified the slain cop who were killed in Zainpora Shopian after militants attacked a minority picket in the area.
According to police control room (PCR) Shopian, the slain policemen were identified as Anees Ahmad, constable (480/Spn), a resident of Kulgam, Hamidullah, Constable (860/SPN), a resident of Anantnag, Merajuddin, a constable (477/SPN), a resident of Hajin in Bandipora.
Meanwhile, PCR officials identified the cop, who was critically injured in the attack as Abdul Majid, a senior grade constable (193/SPN), a resident of Ganderbal.
