Bazie heads Real Kashmir FC to second consecutive home victory

Srinagar, Dec 05: Snow leopards registered their second home win against Mizoram side Aizawl FC in a exciting encounter here.Bazie Armand’s  first half goal guided RKFC to the win .

In playing eleven RKFC introduced much talked about Ghanaian striker   Abedenedo Tetteh.

RKFC started on high note in the second minute Krizo’s shot was saved by AFC Goalie.

AFC went on to counter attack and AFC striker’s shot hit woodwork, which denied them early lead.

Surchandran and Krizo came very close each time their shot hit side net.

AFC almost scored a goal when RKFC Goalkeeper,​  Bilal miscues the cross ball by AFC winger, which ended on hitting crossbar.

Khalid’s Pinpoint cross when straight to Bazie, he put the ball into net and give RKFC much-needed​lead. T he goal erupted whole stadium into celebration. .

In second half, AFC kept of most of the possessions and penetrated many times in the box but RKFC backline denied them every chance of scoring.

Bilal made a heroic save in last quarter of the match to keep RKFC safe.

Krizo again came close in last minutes but his header hit sidebar.

Match ended in favour of RKFC. With this win RKFC claimed to 4th on points table with 10 points .Former champions AFC remained on 9th.

Despite cold and foggy weather,RKFC supporters swelled the venue to cheer for home team. They were all energetic throughout the match.

RKFC will face Shillong Lajjong on 11th Dec at TRC turf here.
