Baramulla, Dec 05: Two Army soldiers were wounded after the armies of India and Pakistan traded fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

Reports said that the Pakistani troops fired at Indian soldiers in Kamalkote area of Uri.

They said that Indian soldiers retaliated, leading to a brief exchange of fire, in which two soldiers were wounded.

Army sources identified the injured soldiers as Sepoy Dupo Veshunath and Naik M Walim of 8 Rashtriya Rifles.

The injured soldiers were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
