Pulwama: Civilian injured in crossfire, stable
Pulwama: A civilian was injured in south Kashmir’s Litter Pulwama in cross fire between government forces and militants on Saturday evening.
A police official confirmed the incident and said: “Bashir Ahmad Mir resident of Litter Pulwama received bullet in the leg when brief exchange of fire took place between government forces and militants in the litter village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.”
“The civilian was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment and his condition is said to be stable,” he said.
Government forces have launched Cordon and search operation in the litter village following brief exchange of fire.
