LEH, NOVEMBER 30: Secretary Social Welfare Department, Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone, today reviewed the progress on special summary revision in twin districts of Leh and Kargil of the frontier Ladakh region.
Dr Lone, who is Electoral Roll Observer for Leh and Kargil, took detailed stock of revision process in separate meetings with the EROs AEROs of the two districts.
While expressing satisfaction on the progress, he directed for following all the set guidelines to ensure that no eligible and prospective voter is left out.
District Election Officer and DDEOs informed the Secretary about various indicators of electoral rolls. EP ratio of both the districts was reported above 59percent. Dr Lone asked the officers to work for achieving 100percent PER and EPIC ratio in both the districts.
He also met representatives of various political parties.
