Principal Secretary Health visits District Hospital Baramulla
Stresses for timely completion of Medical College
BARAMULLA, NOVEMBER 29: Principal Secretary Health services Atal Dulloo accompanied by Director Health Services Kashmir and other functionaries of the department today visited District Hospital Baramulla to review the functioning and other medicare facilities available in the hospital.
During his visit, the Secretary took a comprehensive review by inspecting different sections of the hospital, wherein he was briefed by the Medical Superintendent Dr Syed Masood about the facilities being served to the patients. He interacted with the patients and enquired about the facilities being provided to them. Atal Dulloo stressed upon the concerned to ensure better and qualitative medicare facilities is provided to the patients visiting the hospital
The Secretary said that the Government has taken various initiatives to strengthen the health sector in the State. He also emphasized for ensuring an adequate supply of vital medicines for the health institutions, especially during the winter season.
Moreover, Atal Dulloo also reviewed the ongoing work on Medical College Baramulla wherein he exhorted on concerned to expedite the work so that people at an earliest could avail benefit from the facility.
ADC Farooq Ahmad Baba, Principal GMC, CMO and various other concerned were present on the occasion.
