CEC Kargil for focused attention on co-curricular activities

KARGIL, NOVEMBER 29: Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan said that extracurricular activities play a pivotal role in shaping the personality and ensuring the overall development of children and parents ought to encourage their kids to participate in the same and explore their interests.

The CEC stated this while addressing a gathering of parents, staff and students during the Annual Sports Day 2018 at KendriyaVidayalaya Kargil (KVK) Trespone here today.

Executive Councillor for Social Welfare Aga Syed Mujtaba and Principal KVK Trespone G.S Pathania were also present on the occasion.

The CEC while appreciating the initiative of KVK Trespone in organizing the sports day urged the Principal to organize similar co-curricular activities in future which would help in the holistic development of children.

Feroz Khan said that co-curricular activities are just as important as academics and both must complement each other to develop a well-rounded student with more social skills than one who only concentrates on studies.
