Srinagar, November 27, 2018: Paying rich tributes to the militants who were killed in encounters at Kulgam and Tral, All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani said that bloodshed on such a large scale should have acted as an eye opener for the world community and champions of democracy and human rights.
In a statement issued here today Geelani said: “Our nation has to stand by this movement as our life, honour, culture, religion and even the land is at stake and if we remain contended with this slavery, everything will be snatched from us.”
He once again appealed for complete poll boycott of ongoing panchayat elections and cautioned people that voting for anybody amounts to betrayal as these votes are used as affirmative verdict to hoodwink the international community.
