Srinagar, 27 November, 2018 Jammu and Kashmir national conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah expressed grief over the demise of former union minister and veteran congress leader from Karnataka Jaffer Sharief.

Expressing his grief Dr Farooq said that the deceased was a veteran parliamentarian and had served as union minister for railways from 1991-1995. “I pray to almighty for peace to the soul of deceased leader and strength to the bereaved family members to bear the loss. Jaffer Sahib served at many key posts and shall be remembered for his good work and cheerful personality,” he said.
