Srinagar: Chairman Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Mohd Ashraf Sehrai has paid tributes to the six militants killed in an encounter at Bata Gund Shopian, saying “blood of these martyrs will not be allowed to go waste”
“They are our heroes and their sacrifices are part of our history,” he said in a statement issued here today.
Meanwhile, Sehrai telephonically addresses condolence gathering of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat in Kupwara District and paid tributes to Mir Hafizullah.
He said the Mir Hafizullah was valiant freedom fighter who laid his life for the sacred cause.
“He also addressed Umar Majeed’s funeral telephonically and paid glorious tributes to martyrs and reiterated his pledge to take the ongoing movement to its logical end”, the statement said.
