JKLF activists, others hold candle light protests against killings

Srinagar: Various leaders and activists of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) along with people from all walks of life today staged two candle light protest rallies at Koker Bazar and Maisuma Lal Chowk against killings in Kashmir especially from last three days at Bijbihara, Shopian and Pampore, a statement issued by JKLF said.

JKLF leaders Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Mushtaq Ajmal, Javed Zargar, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Ashraf Bin salam, professor Javed, Ghulam Muhammad Dar, Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya), Gulzar Pahalwan, Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Jamal along with social activists Deen Muhammad Matoo and Muhammad Amin Magloo and others gathered at Koker-bazar Chowk and Maisuma Chowk and held candle light protest in response to a call given by JRL, the statement said.

The demonstrators raised slogans against ‘human rights violations’ and ‘criminal silence of international community on it’, said the statement.
