Srinagar, Nov 23: Militants on Friday evening hurled a grenade at the residence of Congress leader in Monghama village of Tral in Pulwama district, police said.
A police officer said the grenade was hurled at the residence of Congress leader Surinder Singh Channi, in Monghama Tral around 6:15 pm.
The grenade landed inside the compound of the house and exploded without causing any loss of life or damage, he said.
“We have cordoned off the area to nab the attackers,” police said.
