Kupwara, Nov 16: Government forces have detained two youth during nocturnal raids in Sever Thandipora area of Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Local sources said that the forces raided several houses late last night in Sever Lolab and detained two youth from the area.
The arrested youth were identified as Abass Shafi Malla, son of Mohammad Shafi Malla, and Ishfaq Ahmad Malla, son of Ghulam Mohammad Malla –both residents of Sever Thandipora Lolab.
Reports said that the locals staged a protest in Sever area demanding their release. The protesters also blocked Kupwara-Warnow road to register their protest.
