Rajarwani Uri: Excited and overwhelmed, young girl Nazia Bano, a first timer voter,  stands in long queue outside polling station number 7 to exercise her franchise.

“I am casting my vote for the first time. I am excited and overwhelmed to elect my representatives Panch and Sarpanch for my village,”says Naza in fluent Urdu with Phardi accent.
She added that till now she has learnt about right to vote and elections in her political science subject theoretically  but today today she became part of poll process.
” I resolve to repose my faith in a candidate and if he gets elected, I will make him accountable and make sure he works for development of my frontier village,” says Naza.
She further says it gives you a unique felling when you hold a voter slip and cast the vote for the first time.
” I want my village to get power, drinking water and health care facilities, “she avers.
As voting time ends, she is the first timer to cast the last vote in Ward number 6, and total votes polled here 143 out of 164.
