SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 16: Commissioner Secretary, Labour & Employment and Labour Commissioner, Saurabh Baghat today paid a surprise visit to the divisional offices of Labour and Provident Fund Organization (LPFO) and Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC) offices.
Commissioner Secretary took the review of the functioning of the offices and directed the field agencies to work with zeal for the welfare of the working class.
Meanwhile, surprise visit was paid on construction site of Jehangir Chowk Rambagh flyover where Commissioner Secretary and Labour Commissioner talked to the construction labourers and enquired about the safety measures and other facilities provided to them by the executing agency. On spot directions where given to the field staff to take necessary steps for the supply and welfare of construction workers.
