I-League: Odili’s brace stun Real Kashmir Football Club

Srinagar Nov 11: Sloppy defending and poor finishing cost ‘leopards’ three point as they were stunned by Manipur side Naroca FC by two goals to nil.

Home side RKFC started on a good note as Denish went very close to scoring. He slashed the ball over cross bar by inches.

Pumped by crowd of supporters RKFC dominated the play in first quarter .Open chance  to score  in the penalty area was put to waste by Krizo ,his weak shot  was too comfortable fir NFC’s Goalie  ,Boerchio .

NFC was playing in pockets .In first quarter their possession was limited in midfield.

Boerchio denied Mason Rabortson by a stunning save on header keeping the deadlock alive.

Krizo again failed to convert for RKFC .His missed open chance on header putting   the ball off-target.

In the 27th minute FC Odili guided the ball in net for NFC; courtesy sloppy defending by RKFC defenders.NFC got much needed goal.

In early minutes of second half, much to the disappointed   of home fans Krizo’s strike hit woodwork in 63rd minute, followed by offside signal.

RKFC created many chances but failed to finish every time. Krizo’s shot was again saved by heroic of goalie, Boioerchio.

In the run Odili Secored second goal silencing the whole stadium. NFC went to comfort with   2 goal lead.

Danish failed to put ball in net when he was one with goalkeeper but Boerchio again put a stretching save and won huge applause of spectators and all.

Mason Rabortson came very close in dying minutes for RKFC but couldn’t find consolation goal.

With this loss, RKFC jumped to fifth place on the table with 4 points in three games. Naroca FC climbed to third place.
