Kangan: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) official died of cardiac arrest in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday, officials said.
Assistant Sub Inspector, Sourabh posted with 118 Bn CRPF, fell unconscious at his camp in Hariganiwan Kangan on Saturday morning, officials said.
He was immediately shifted to SDH Kangan where doctors declared him brought dead, said the officials.
Panic gripped the camp as the personnel fell unconsciousness.
Unmindful of what would have happened, the colleagues of the deceased faced a panic situation.
The incident has shocked all the colleagues and others in the camp.
