Srinagar, Nov 07: A 3-year-old girl slipped to death into an irrigational canal near her house in Kangan area of Ganderbal district of central Kashmir on Wednesday.
Locals said that the girl identified as Seerat Bashir, 3, daughter of Bashir Ahmad Dar, slipped to an irrigational canal while playing near her house in Lal Mohalla Satruna in Kangan this afternoon.
Seerat was immediately fished out and rushed to Sub District Hospital Kangan for the treatment, however, doctors present there declared her as brought dead, they said.
