NC President said that Kashmir is known for being the cradle of sages and saints in every age. “More than four centuries have passed down the line of history yet people come and receive spiritual bliss at these centers. Sufism is the inner soul of Islam and Sufis took it upon themselves to embalm the poor and miserable keeping in with the traditions of Islam,” he said.

Dr Farooq said that the need of the hour is to inculcate and educate new generation about the life and history of such Awliya. “The message of such great souls is for all ages to imbibe. I greet people on the Urs observance and pray to almighty to salvage us out from the current turbulent times,” he said.

He was accompanied by party general secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar and party activists.
